The property is surrounded by lush gardens and a stunning bamboo forest that infuse the air with a feeling of tranquility. Judging by these surroundings it is easy to understand why its name can be interpreted as “Pupil in the House of God” (From “Al”, the Arabic Word Ala for “God”, and “Elève” which is French for pupil).

Al Eleve’s grounds have neighboring coffee and plantain plantations, we can arrange accessibility to visitors who might be interested in seeing them. The road leading to the property has very little traffic, and winds around a typical country setting typical of the area. Visitors usually enjoy long strolls along the road, jogging, mountain biking, and cycling. A short walk away is the “Paraiso del Bambu y la Guadua” (https://www.bambuturismo.com/), a place certainly worth a visit to see the largest collection of species of bamboo and guadua in Colombia.
